  • Support Australia with Vive Le Vintage – This group was created to help connect U.S. consumers to small businesses that have been directly affected by the recent bushfires in Australia as well as to find verified and reputable organizations to donate to. While the fires are not as widespread or intense NOW, this will be a lengthy and expensive recovery for businesses, families, wildlife, and their habitats. With the devastation that has happened to the fauna, they now suffer an increased risk of flash flooding, mudslides, and carcinogenic soil and water.

    Earlier this year, legislation was introduced to add to existing protections for personal information in the Australian Privacy Act. From 22 February 2018, retail businesses with an annual turnover of $3 million or more, or that trade in personal information, will be required to comply with the Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB) scheme.
