We're the heart of Merimbula's business community.
The Merimbula Chamber of Commerce is a volunteer-run organisation dedicated to supporting local businesses, strengthening our community, and making Merimbula one of the best places to live, work, and visit on the Sapphire Coast.
We bring together business owners, community leaders, and passionate locals to champion economic growth, celebrate our town's unique character, and create a vibrant future for the Merimbula CBD and beyond.
Our Merimbula is the trading name for the Merimbula Chamber of Commerce Incorporated INC Y1227835.

We advocate for local businesses, connect members with opportunities, and lead projects that make our town more attractive, welcoming, and prosperous. Whether you're a long-established local business or just starting out, the Chamber is here to support you.

What We Do
CBD Upgrade Project
We're actively working to revitalise Merimbula's central business district — improving streetscapes, amenity, and the overall experience for shoppers, visitors, and businesses alike. This is a long-term investment in the future of our town centre.
Christmas Windows
Each year, our Christmas Windows project transforms Merimbula's CBD into a festive showcase. Local businesses, artists, and community members come together to create stunning window displays that draw visitors and celebrate the spirit of the season. Our 2026 event is already in the works — stay tuned!
Festival & Event Support
From local festivals to community events, the Chamber plays an active role in supporting the events that make Merimbula such a special place. We help coordinate, promote, and champion the events that bring our community together.
Essence — Our Community Retail Store
Essence is more than a shop — it's a community hub right in the heart of Merimbula. Stocking locally made products and gifts that celebrate the Sapphire Coast, Essence supports local makers and gives visitors a genuine taste of what makes our region unique.
